A visit to the Lewis Family Playhouse will enrich our Language Arts and Fine Arts curriculums. While experiencing a live performance, we will discover how much a book can come to life.  This is always an outstanding learning opportunity for all students.  Chaparral's PFA supports these field trips with providing the cost of admission and the bus transportation.  Thank you PFA!!

The Lewis Family Playhouse began in 2006.  Second grade has been fortunate to attend the following outstanding plays:

"Miss Nelson is Missing"  in 2006

"The BFG" (Big Friendly Giant) in  April 2008

"James and the Giant Peach" on October 22, 2008.
